The association of testosterone with vardenafil is a better treatment for sexual impotence in men with hypogonadism.

Men with sexual impotence due to hypogonadism (low testosterone production by the testes), seem to have a better improvement with the combination of testosterone with a drug, vardenafil, to improve penile rigidity. It was believed that testosterone alone would be sufficient, but a study shows that men who fail such therapy alone (intramuscular injections every 3 months which- in Brazil is produced by Lilly and known as Nebido), respond when testosterone injections are associated with , vardenafil (known in Brazil as Levitra).
